Hi Thank you for your reply.

Do you have any idea how long this would take -ie – to save a full site backup (files and database) and change theme, deactivate the plugin Hummingbird Pro, with the Jetpack Boost activated, and send us the results.

This is undesirable on a live site?

Not really a viable option.

Unfortunately the best and most timely solution was to deactivate Hummingbird pro and jetpack boost.

I am getting the same error:

Error posting to API: cURL error 35: OpenSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to smushpro.wpmudev.org:443

In Media Library some are showing as “not processed”. If I click on the button to manually smush the image, I see the error message as above.

Solved by using wp classic editor plugin and deactivating SEO Premium

yes all plugins and themes are up to date – Yoast SEO Version 16.2
Note there is a warning that Yoast SEO Premium has not been tested with current – latest- version of WordPress

Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.

Actually I just took a short cut and deactivated Seo Premium and it now works – definitely a bug. Hope they will fix soon.

Regarding premium support – I followed the links for that and ended up here – assumed I was on premium support?

Same problem today and yesterday and last week – everything is updated – this problem says status resolved – but cannot find answer above.

error message still:
