In reply to: [Genesis Connect for WooCommerce] Latest GCW 0.9.10 displays blank Shop PageThe best idea is probably to reduce your expectations of exactly how stable and consistent the WordPress ecosystem really is. Realize that it’s interdependent on so many parts & plug-ins and then, breathe a sigh of relief when it, finally, all works as it should. Again! Then, no more updates for 6 months to a year.
Remember, just because some Company’s Marketers make it all sound good – it never is and never will be living up to the stability that we desire, want and need.
In fact, the whole WP/Plug-in ecosystem is nothing short of perpetually time-consuming, less than 100% ‘working right’, frustrating and hair-raising. Always.

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Legitmate Tinymce Files or Not?Thanks for this information. Very good of you to post and very good to know. Shocking that GoDaddy can’t communicate this with Wordfence. Absolutely Shocking!

Good find @cizur. I have tried to disable the hits in WF but am unable to do so.
Re: “is this normal behavior?” yeah just like the “wc-ajax=get_refreshed_fragments” is too!
Both can be happily ignored – along with half of the web and its mostly dysfunctional software.

also fwiw this: define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true); in wp-config.php still gives the 127/localhost entries in Wordfence’s Live Traffic
I have chosen all options for Get IP and – no difference.
Host is BlowDaddy
This post is revealing.

And yes, I believe that the other logged Live Visits are the correct IP’s.@tesla yes, thanks for the confirmation that it is BlowDaddy.
Also their Hosting is having ‘challenges’ currently. 8:30am, Sept 23.Update re: Blocking 127.0.0.1
Peculiar. Whether I block that reserved IP# from WF Advanced OR from .htaccess – it makes no difference to the WF Live Traffic Stats. 127.0.0.1 just keeps on coming and logged as such.
Also, update re: Akismet and YoastSEO
Deactivating those Plug-ins makes no difference to the [constant] 127.0.0.1 onslaught.

also…. YoastSEO and Akismet plugins within the last week…
GoDaddy says that it’s nothing they’ve done and, if this has just now started to happen, to check updated plug-ins. That would be Wordfence.
I s’pose I could try blocking it in .htaccess. It’s just untoward that this has only just started happening for no apparent reason – other than the WF plug-in update.

Unlike those with unattractive partners it is me who sleeps at night and my computer that gets turned off. What does this mean? This means that all those 127.0.0.1 hits are not me!
I think it’s the network card of the hosting Server.
That said, if it is the hosting Server’s NIC, then why has this just started?
Has something changed at BlowDaddy’s WP hosting or, is it the latest release of WF? Or, something else?
Certainly there are few web search hits on this.
i have the same issue for a couple of days now. “An unknown location at IP 127.0.0.1 visited”

i blocked both the IP# and the NetBIOS name in Advanced but still no happy.
uninstalled, deleted tables and re-installed but, no happy.
changed “…Get IP” method and still no change.fwiw my host is BlowDaddy
