Looks to have been a conflict with the Types and Views plugins. Once I deactivated, I could again publish an event.
Anyone aware of a custom types plugin that plays nicely with Events Manager?

Latest release seems to have cleared things up. I had to dump all of Safari’s cache, but search is working now.
I’m having the same problem on a standard install. Fresh database. Genesis child theme. A few Genesis plugins.
I’m using a clean install. No other plugins.
No pages created, other than the auto-generated one by EM.
Headway is very, very new, so I’m stepping gently. And since I’m using the beta of EM, I thought I’d just make a mention. Totally, could be the theme.
