I have the same issue, but with Google Chrome Windows desktop (latest version) only so far.
Testing with Mozilla Firefox desktop version on Win/Linux seems to be working fine, also on Google Chrome mobile version (Android) and Linux desktop version as well.
iOS Safari works OK too.
Many thanks @pikslstudio, the suggested workaround fixed my issue.
One additional info:
The issue happens for me if I activate the “Detect browser language” without the suggested workaround.
