Unfortunately there’s no way to change the speed of loading the screenshots. The process takes some time since it needs to render the page on a third party server and then save the screenshot.
Once the screenshot is saved it should display quite quickly.
Please note that the service is controlled by a third party – this plugin just makes it easier to use. As such theres nothing that can be done to change/ tweak how the screenshots are taken.

We’re not currently taking suggestions for features but we’re happy to hear ideas.

I will have a think about how best to tackle this in a future update. For the time being you could edit the plugin css and add some padding at the top of the login box to push the login form lower.

The idea for embedding the game directly onto the site rather than a lightbox (that’s what you mean right?) is something we’re considering.

I suspect if you add the full path to the image as an exception then it may work:
/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Extranet_Login_Background.gif /wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Extranet_Login_PageBackground.jpgIf that doesn’t work then I don’t know what to suggest.

In reply to: [WP Custom Login] Background images no longer showing on login pageHi there – this seems to be an issue with the way you have the site setup.
If I try to view this image: http://www.geaftextranet.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Extranet_Login_Background.gif then I get redirected to the login screen. I assume you’re using some sort of plugin that stops people from viewing the site when they are not logged in?
As such, it seems the background images won’t load until the user is logged in – by which time it’s too late.
If you can add an exception to the plugin so that it allows access to wp-content/uploads then it should work.
Either way – its not an issue with the custom login plugin unfortunately 🙁

All the plugin does is make it easier to use the service. As such I’m afraid there’s nothing I can do to make it work – really sorry about that.

Regarding point 1 – that’s the intended behaviour. The plugin has to open the game in a lightbox because your theme may not have enough space to display the game and so this works around that issue.
Regarding point 2 – I haven’t seen this problem. Do you have somewhere I can see this? What is the shortcode you are using to get that error?
