In reply to: [Make] rss not active on Make ThemeHi Melissa,
The feed has appeared. To tell you the truth I don’t know what brought it online, maybe an update, but now I can see it. Thank you for your time.

In reply to: [Make] rss not active on Make ThemeOkay, I’ve added the http://sweetnoisythings.com/feed
into the custom RSS field, but nothing has happened. I would like to be able to display the RSS icon. I know by default it display on the footer, but not for me.We’ve now tried to add it to the header, but that doesn’t seem to be working either.
Can you tell what I should do to get he RSS icon to appear with this theme.
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Make] rss not active on Make ThemeI already checked that. The box is unchecked. Is there a way I can activated it manually? Also, ideally, I’d like to put it in the Header.

In reply to: [Make] rss not active on Make ThemeHi Melissa,
Thanks for getting back to me. Part of my problem is I can’t figure out how to make the rss button appear on the page. I believe by default it should be in the footer, but I can’t see it.
Would you be able to tell be how to make it visible?
Perhaps you should re-install a feed reader in your browser? By browser do you mean Safari? And how would I do this?
Thanks Jeremy,
I’ll see what I can get from WordPress SEO.
Hi Jeremy,
I contacted Facebook concerning the irregularity of my post’s picture sizes. Their response was that the image used in the post preview is determined by the og:image meta tag present in the page being shared. If you are using a WordPress plugin that allows sharing to Facebook, you should consult the documentation for that plugin to determine how you can set the size of the image used in the og:image tag.
Is there a way I can do this?
Thanks,
Okay so I think I have the Twitter Card set up. Now is there a way to have them appear expanded in the tweet without clicking on them?
Thanks again Jeremy.
Looking forward to the Jetpack update.Hi Jeremy,
I am trying to get my twitter posts to appear with an image. Researching this I come up with references to Publicize. On the Sharing Setting I see something called Twitter Site Tag. What is this and will it give my posts an image?
Also I’ve mentioned the issue I am having with Tumblr. I continue to not get any image at all with the posts:

Thank You Jeremy, I’ll look into your suggestions and let you know how it goes.
Thanks Jeremy,
I will try the above to see if I can rectify the Facebook issue. Some of the feedback I’m getting from Facebook debug is ‘The parser’s result for this metadata did not match the input metadata. Likely, this was caused by the data being ordered in an unexpected way, multiple values being given for a property only expecting a single value, or property values for a given property being mismatched. Here are the input properties that were not seen in the parsed result: ‘article:section’
How do I see and/or control my metadata? Could it be that Pubicize and WordPress SEO are creating multiple values? Do I understand correctly that if I have WordPress SEO running Publicize will defer to it for the creation of the Open Graph Meta Tags. Duplication will not occur.I also noticed a couple of other issues:
When viewing my sites Facebook Posts on an i-pod they appear as thumbnails.Lastly when pushing to a tumblr site no images appear: https://www.tumblr.com/blog/sweetnoisythings
Again thanks for you time.
