There is a plugin conflict…
The plugin “PayPal WP Button Manager” v1.1.4 by AngelEYE https://www.angelleye.com is causing the conflict with NextGEN Gallery so I can’t see any page content under the Other Options tab. I submitted a bug report. I hope they fix it soon, as I need that PayPal plugin. Please do submit this user request to your superiors (from above)…
Each time NextGen Gallery is updated, under Gallery Settings > Basic Thumbnails > Select View, the view is always set back to “default-view.php”. I have to keep manually setting it to the intended “legacy”, which I prefer because this view places images close together instead of spreading them out. “Select View” should retain the user’s choice when updating the plugin.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Autoptimize] “ShortPixel and CDN Quota was Used” BUGOkay I’ll try that next time I see it and report back here.

I’m not entirely sure what a “single site installation” is. I own one WordPress site, but my wife’s WordPress site is also under my hosting plan with A2 Hosting. So there are 2 sites with one hosting company, but her site is independent of mine. I do own 4 URL names, but they simply point to various pages within WehrliPubs.com – I think they’re called “re-directs”?
Anyway, is that enough to determine whether or not I should submit a bug report?
Also, I had updated my PHP to 7.3.2 before I re-installed the plugin.
Please advise on my previous message, thanks.
I deleted the plugin, then re-installed it. No change. Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects produces a blank page with only the WordPress footer at the bottom. I have another entry though in the gallery list underneath “Other Options” that says “Upgrade to Pro”. Are these Lightbox Effects settings you’re talking about available only with the pro version? Is that why I’m not seeing it?
Also, another bug, now that I’ve noticed it again from replacing the plugin… each time I’ve updated NextGen, under Gallery Settings > Basic Thumbnails > Select View, the view is always set back to “default-view.php”. I have to keep manually setting it to the intended “legacy”, which I prefer because this view places images close together instead of spreading them out. Please report that “Select View” is not retaining the user’s choice when updating the plugin.
That file path leads to a completely empty page, no “Lightbox Effects” settings, nothing on that page at all! Please advise where this Lightbox setting actually is.
And with what’s now been stated above, do I still need to remove the NextGen Gallery and reinstall it fresh?
If so, please advise on any caveats… will my images need to be re-uploaded, could anything get lost or break? Will I have to do *anything* other than reinstalling the plugin in order for all my images to appear and function just as they were before I re-installed the plug-in?
Please advise on this and my reply above, thanks.
Perhaps you forgot what the tech from themify.me stated:
“I disabled all plugins except NextGen Gallery on your website, then switched to the default Twenty Nineteen theme, and even created a blank page and set that as the homepage (so no content shows up on frontend). I still see error message from NextGen, please see attached screenshot [This is basically what I typed above]. The error is not coming from the theme or any of your other plugins.”
The troubleshooting steps you mention have already been done. I don’t see the need to spend more of my time submitting a bug report only to have them do what’s already been done. Wouldn’t you agree? And now another community member is stating the same problem even using PHP 7.3.5, so the error now seems to be coming from the plugin, regardless of PHP.
In any case, I will still investigate the switch to PHP version 7.2 or later with my hosting company.
Here are my Site Details.

In reply to: “Related Products” images are too largeThanks for your response, George. I will certainly keep that page for reference, but I’m hoping this can be done without having to change my php file. I’m not a programmer, but I understand that if I update my php this kind of data can be lost, correct? If there’s a built-in function from the WooCommerce platform, or even WordPress itself, I’d greatly appreciate to how-to on this. 🙏 Maybe custom CSS code in the Appearance > Customize > Custom CSS section??
I submitted a feature request at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/8882. I’m new to github, so hopefully my submission is good and will be taken under advisement.
Since I want to see all colored bullet points (like before), how can I get all headings to STAY expanded, each time the page is loaded/refreshed?
Right now, the Problems heading is always expanded, but none others. Thanks
