Experienced the same problem.
As pjcheshire mentioned, the cause of this are the HTML codes we add the text/content in the Custom HTML Content box.
Solution – Use the H1, H2, H3 etc. boxes instead of the Custom HTML Content Box. Click on the Save Button again and you will see your animated text/content working again on the browser.
Hope this works for all you guys as it did for me.

I have been using TablePress for sometime now and its truly a great plugin until recently I updated its version via the WP Admin Panel and then I started experiencing this very same problem as Bobs.
I kept getting the same “505 Internal Server Error” prompt and now I am in urgent need again of your help for the site will be relaunched soon and I need to get the TablePress plugin working for I have over four different TablePress tables on our site that will actually be showcased as one of the sites main features.
My client truly loves your plugin and was really saddened that we are now running into this problem with only days away from our launch.
Hope you can help us out the soonest time possible. We desperately need your help on this one.

That is indeed unusual for we were able to access it yesterday and just early this morning. Will check it out later tonight and talk to our Hosting Provider. This is definitely bad news.

Added note: I applied these using the Custom CSS form on the WP/TablePress Admin page.

I too am running into some issues with the PHOTONIC Plugin. Its indeed a great and useful App for WP but for some odd reason it continues to conflict with my Revolution Slider plugin which displays images on the home page.
I really hope you can give me a solution for this at the soonest time possible for I need to get my site up an running in 2 days time.

I have recently begun working on a PW site that uses your wonderful TablePress plugin, my only concern was when I tried customizing the Table. I actually tried to apply the solution you mentioned above but still no luck.
I simply tried using this short custom css I made to begin with:
#content .tablepress th {
background-color: #66CCFF;
color: #387d3d;
}But as I said, it did not work unfortunately. Your immediate assistance would be greatly appreciated for I am currently rushing to finish this WP website project of mine.
