.. delete the apache and php logs
reboot machine
start wp-admin
media
add new
select files
window opens – select “fred.jpg” (size 20KB)
click “open”
error message appears
look in apache/php logs
no entries
logout wp
close browser (IE 8)
still no error log entries

question: What happens to wordpress if mod_rewrite isn’t installed
(I notice there is a .htaccess entry – could this be relevant?)
AND WHY would you move this here this is not a localhost problem.
It is widely reported on many servers
and why was I not informed you randomly moved my post?
Please move it back where I put it so other people currently suffering this issue can see it.
