Thanks, that seems to have done the trick. FYI There was no update/change prior to the bug, it just simply got “stuck”. Thanks again

For me it it is definitely this plugin. It slowed down my page significantly after upgrading to WordPress 4.2.4. Disabling the plugin solves the problem, but I need a working solution in order to keep my daily business running.
