The previously installed plugin is not working currently and still is showing “Service discontinued” message on its page.
Should it be re-installed with the new version, right?

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Fatal Error on HomepageTrick with renaming the file to “object-cache.php.OFF” helped me too with a website hosted at GoDaddy. However this caused another plugin (PODS framework) to end up in a Fatal Error crashing the entire website.
I resolved the above issue by installing additional plugin:
“Pods Alternative Cache”.I disabled the object cache by renaming the file again and now both PODS and GCal Events are functioning with no errors, phew…
