    Hi @brunoberger

    Thank you for reaching out and for your positive feedback on BuddyBot — we’re glad to hear it’s aligning well with your use cases.

    Regarding your question about the Assistants API: yes, migrating to the Responses API is already on our product roadmap. However, at this moment, we’re unable to provide a specific timeline for this transition. Rest assured, we will keep our users informed as soon as a more concrete schedule becomes available.

    Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or need further clarification. We’re here to help!

    Hi @vizzzio,

    Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback with us!

    Regarding the CSS Styling Issue
    We’ve taken a look, and it seems the change in your link and icon colors may be due to global styles introduced by the Bootstrap framework, which is currently part of the BuddyBot plugin.
    We completely understand how important consistent design is, and the good news is — we’re already working on a frontend revamp in one of our upcoming updates. As part of this update, we plan to remove Bootstrap entirely to help prevent these kinds of conflicts in the future.

    In the meantime, here’s a quick CSS snippet you can use to restore your original link styling:
    a {
    color: #28282a;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    You can apply this by navigating to: Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS, or
    Adding it to your child theme’s style.css file.

    For Feature Suggestion:
    The feature you mentioned adding a pre-formatted question can be achieved using our BuddyBot FAQ Manager extension.

    The BuddyBot FAQ Manager extension empowers admins to effortlessly generate, customize, and display relevant FAQs in the BuddyBot chat window. By leveraging data from posts and comments, it provides real-time, AI-generated FAQs that are easy to manage and prioritize, offering users instant access to the most relevant answers.

    You can download both extensions here:

    Currently, both extensions are free for early adopters, so it’s a great time to take full advantage of them.

    We really appreciate your feedback and it helps us make BuddyBot even better. If there’s anything else you need or want to explore, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always here to help.

    Hi, @pierdomenico

    Thank you for using BuddyBot.

    We’ve tested the functionality on our end and found everything working as expected. To help identify the cause of the issue on your site, we recommend temporarily deactivating all other plugins except Buddybot, and then checking if the issue still occurs.

    If the problem persists, please share the following details so we can investigate further:

    1. The URL of the  page
    2. The exact shortcode you are using
    3. Detailed site information – you can find this by navigating to Tools > Site Health > Info and clicking “Copy site info to clipboard”. Then, please paste it here.

      We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

    Hi @brambil,

    Thank you for your continued engagement and feedback.

    We understand your concern regarding the “Run status still in progress after five attempts” error message. It is intended to prevent the system from getting stuck in endless loops and provide the user with feedback, rather than leaving the status unclear leading to inordinately long wait times. It is triggered when system is unable to fetch response from the OpenAI server.

    We want to assure you that  we already have plans to improve this functionality in an upcoming release, and we’ll notify you when the new version is available. We truly appreciate your patience and your valuable insights, they help us improve continuously.

    Please feel free to reach out if you have further suggestions or questions.

    Hi @brambil,

    Thank you for sharing your ACF configuration and providing detailed context.

    We will carefully review the data you’ve provided and will reach out if we have any questions. We’ll then incorporate any necessary clarifications into our development process, and we truly appreciate your continued feedback. Integration with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and support for custom post types is already on our development roadmap, and we recognize how important this functionality is, especially for environments focused on analysis, research, and internal tools.

    We’re actively working on expanding our Advanced Data Sync Extension to include ACF compatibility and support for private content, including pages. Once released, we’ll make sure to notify when the new version is available.

    Thanks again for helping shape BuddyBot’s development, your input is incredibly valuable.

    Hi @brambil,

    Just wanted to follow up and see if everything is working smoothly on your end, or if you had any further questions about using custom post types or ACF fields with BuddyBot.

    We’re continuing to make steady progress and would love to know if there’s anything specific you’d like us to consider as we expand data sync capabilities.

    Always happy to hear from early adopters like you!

    Thank you for reaching out and for using BuddyBot.

    There’s a feature in BuddyBot that limits the attempts to fetch a response from OpenAI to a maximum of five times. If it’s still unable to retrieve an answer after those five attempts, it triggers the message: “Run status: Still in progress after five attempts.” This is intended to inform the user that the system has tried multiple times but was unable to get a response, rather than leaving the status unclear or allow inordinately long loops.

    If you’re encountering this message frequently. Could you please share the URL of the frontend page where BuddyBot is deployed? This will allow our development team to investigate the issue directly and more efficiently.

    Also, if you have any feedback about your experience, such as confusing areas, places where users might get stuck, or general suggestions, we’d really appreciate hearing from you. Your insights are incredibly valuable and help us improve BuddyBot in future versions.

    Looking forward to your response!
