The default TinyMCE plugin just inserts images. It can be added as an external plugin, will need a small/basic WP plugin to do so.
Was actually thinking to add an emoji plugin. However there are 722 emoji as of now, will probably be more in the future. It’s not a trivial task to support all 🙂
Thanks, i also notiсed that default TinyMCE plugin inserts images instead of bb code. I use about 20 smilies, so i can a bit rewrite code, so it will insert also images instead of bbcode. In any case, thanks for reply.
