Hey @gemini23 ,
In some cases, it helps to add a
+before the number. We have a knowledge base article on our community that has some more information about the WhatsApp number formatting: https://community.buttonizer.pro/knowledgebase/381-whatsapp-number-formating
Hope it helps!
Hey @chris29888 ,
Thank you for taking the time to reply again! Really appreciate it π
Regarding loading in Buttonizer
I think you’re making good points there and we’re currently researching how we can improve this so we can release an update next week. We’ll try to lazy-load Buttonizer until someone agreed to the GDPR-plugin of choice. The only issue might be that there are so many different GDPR-plugins. So, we’ll investigate on it so we can build something propper.
Could you perhaps let us know what plugin you are you using? Then we can take a look how to help you further.
The other issue
Thanks for this information. We might have found the cause of the issue and have released version 3.0.3 that should fix your problem. So, if you want to retry again in the future, this issue should have been resolved.Hope this helps and to hear from you soon again, enjoy your weekend π
Hey @chris29888 ,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns! Our apologies you feel like this as a long-time user of our plugin.
Regarding GDPR compliance
We are a Dutch company, so I can assure you that we do not collect or store any personal data of website visitors connecting to our server and showing floating content. We don’t store any visitor logs and don’t track visitors via cookies.Of course, as a European company we have to be GDPR compliant as well and are careful with working with third parties.
All user data of site owners registered to our dashboard are only being used to provide the service. The DNS and CDN is provided by Cloudflare. Cloudflare is GDPR compliant and has a page with information available.
I don’t think we have this written down on our site at the moment, so we’ll have a page up soon that will have all the necessary information available, such as what we do to be GDPR compliant and how we protect our customers (and your visitors) privacy.
The other issue
The issue you have sounds like you might use a caching plugin which mightdeferourembed.jsscript to load the Buttonizer buttons. Are you able to let me know if you’re using a caching plugin and if so, which one it is? If not, was it properly loading in the
embed.js?Hope to hear from you soon, then we can take a look at it further for you π
P.S. You can also contact us via our Buttonizer Community via opening discussion or a private ticket
Thanks! We’re very glad to hear that! You were also very quick with replying, so that also helped!
I’ll mark this topic as resolved.
If there’s anything else, let us know. Have a great day π
Hey again,
Thanks for letting us know!
We’re going to release an update with a couple of more fixes soon anyway, so hopefully WordPress versioning picks up this version correctly π
P.S. I see that all the options are not available in v3 by default, and it only displays βStart Migratingβ button (which redirects to some signup form). Does it mean I canβt use Buttonizer without creating an account with you?
Regarding migrating, that’s for our new standalone platform which we released about half a year ago (but wasn’t available via WordPress yet).
Of course, it’s not mandatory and skippable. The WordPress-only version did not get any less features and will work just as before!
However, the idea behind the standalone is that it’s easier to work on new features across all platforms (as we’re now also available for Shopify as well) and maintain one single code base across our platform. Users can now manage multiple Buttonizer instances with one single account.
We also want to build more advanced features soon (such as privacy friendly conversion analytics) and optimize Buttonizer even further so the experience is much faster (without making WordPress sites slower with more advanced features).
If you have any questions, feedback or ideas, make sure to let us know! We really appreciate your feedback π
Yes, they should stay the same π
Hey again,
Thanks for the wait and apologies for the bug. We have tested this update a lot this week, very sorry that this bug slipped through!
We have now released version 3.0.1 which should fix the bug you were experiencing.
So you should see the 3.0.1 update in the dashboard soon. If this is not the case, try uninstalling and re-installing Buttonizer, seems that the 3.0.0 update on WP also got the fix already (probably the reason we don’t see the version number going up).
Let me know if this fixed the issue! If you are experiencing anything else, please let us know! π
