Thanks for rating the BoldGrid Backup plugin! We strive to for 5 star ratings, but can’t complain for a 4 start rating 🙂
You talked about the Backup Plugin taking control of wp_mail, which is breaking your other plugins. I’m not familiar with the issue, but if there’s a way to fix it, we’d like to.
Would you be able to open a support thread and supply us with more information on this? IE are you getting any error messages? What is exactly happening, how are things breaking?

A few moments ago we released BoldGrid Backup version 1.11.3, which should resolve the issue that you’ve brought to our attention. Can you upgrade your version of BoldGrid Backup, test, and let us know the issue is resolved?

Also, while logging in as an Editor to test, we noticed a few other things. Editors shouldn’t see everything they’re seeing right now, regarding BoldGrid Backup. We created a GitHub issue to review this further and address it down the road: https://github.com/BoldGrid/boldgrid-backup/issues/139

We’ve spent some time reviewing the issue you’re describing and I think we’ve got it fixed. My initial testing shows everything’s working.
Can you test again and let us know if it works for you? You SHOULD NOT have to reinstall the plugin or do anything else, simply click that Google Drive link and try again.

I’m really excited to hear you purchased the BoldGrid Backup plugin! But, hearing it’s not working for you is much worse, I’m very sorry.
We may have had a communications breakdown within the team, because I’m one of the developers and I haven’t heard about this issue yet.
I’m going to look into this for you and get is resolved. I’ll touch base soon.

I’m sorry to hear you’re running into a problem with clearing the notices in your BoldGrid Backup Dashboard concerning Backup Schedules and Remote Storage.

I just wanted to chime in and mention we’re still here and still want to help. If you can give us an update on @joemoto last response, we can troubleshoot further.
As per our direct communication today, we will be waiting for a copy of the backup archive in question.
Please reply to let us know if you experience any issues using the Backup Browser feature on one of the Backup Archive Details pages.
Also, please try to open the archive file with a newer utility such as 7-zip.
