I must have tried image uploads and and checked thumbnail creation about three times and became disheartened. Because of my _user error_ I was only getting a dimension reduced thumbnail. VERY dialup unfriendly. My preference is to have an option to make a true thumbnail (with small file size) inserted into a post that when clicked it pops up the original full sized image. [The files are there and I can download and read them!] I even copied all the gm-*. cgi files to other folders, re-editied gm-2-b2.php and got the same results.
