In reply to: [Web To Print Shop : uDraw] linked to product?Hi,
Thank you for quick response!
And yes, that is what I was expecting also, only that it does not happen as you say. I publish the product and everything but when I go back to the templates they are still unlinked.
Trust me, I tried it couple of times, the behavior does not change.
In the templates directory they continue to appear as unlinked. Please try to use the version you offer here as download when checking functionlity as you might have some “guru” version installed on your servers and that one works. But this one here doesn’t 🙂
Cheers

In reply to: [Web To Print Shop : uDraw] error on activating pluginok, I know why that happened but do not know how to solve it …
I installed on a test server in a subdirectory and your script is reading from the domain root …
could you provide a fix/workaround?not really …
I was just sent a screenshot of the product backend wherease I need to see how does that work in the frontend as well. And not with a screenshot but with a demo.
I am really not convinced that those Ninja things are solving the problem. Maybe they are, but as long as I cannot see it anywhere …
that support is very slow …
Where can I see a demo of that please??! you are saying it is incorporated but it does not appear in any demo so far
I don’t understand that …
So I build a form with this Ninja – say I have 2 fields with options and a submit button. So what now? How/where you integrate that in your plugin? I see no reference / demo.
Will it be on the screen where the customization happens or how ?!?
And how will it land there ?!? (how do you know which form you add and how you do it?!?)Hi,
I thought about this again and again, missing the possibility of adding simple options to the product is a major flow in the logics of this plugin. I cannot think of a real-life customizable product that would work without that. Why use Ninja forms? That means setting up a form which would gather its feedback on its OWN interface! So instead of having all the purchase details in one place I’d have have them spplitted between woocomm and this ninja thing? Do you realize what that means for a live site? Not only is it not practical, it can also cause legal issues.
I tried to solve it with variations, but here again the plugin is built in such a away that it forces me to rebuild the customizable layouts for EVERY single variation! So not only I have to deal with 20 variations on the variations Tab, I’ll also have to re-do the same layout 20 times in your plugin Tab, once for each variation! This is absolutely undoable.
Could you at least implement something like “use same layout for all variations” (I mean that customizable part with front and back etc.)? Maybe that could offer some sort of a solution.
Thank you!
That is (the fact that you do only add to cart from within your plugin) the major problem! It’s basically disconnected from WooCom here.
Many other features offered by plugins that extend woocomm functionality will also not apply when one uses your plugin.
How do you solve with your plugin the problem of a vendor who needs to customize a product and needs to only sell it in batches (like buy 20 pieces/ 50 / 100)? (that’s an other plugin dealing with this issue by the way).
What if you need to add some extra options like “short sleeve / long sleeve” with price differences?
To many issues one encounters in real life were just not considered. So I wonder what would be the use to buy a pro version when it’s pretty clear I’d need a custom job for any little thing that otherwise would work like a charm in WooCom directly.
See what I mean?
The plugin it’s nice but has not great applicability in real life (also the pro).
One more question (maybe an idea): would it be possible to save somehow the customizations in the session / cache / something and instead of “add to cart” have a “return to product page” button ? And add it to cart from there and not from your customization page?
so basically, one can operate your plugin only ALONE, not in interdependence with other plugins.
I knew it was to nice to be true 🙁
I think it’s this one https://docs.woothemes.com/document/product-add-ons/
ok, got the preview working now after activating that bootstarp script in seetings; did not think that was that important.
Tried a specially woocomm optimized theme (accesspress) – there the preview is not working!
Tried that again and again, does not solve the problems unfortunatelly 🙁
Ok, I understand.
