The “Update” is only available as the .ZIP file. I don’t remember whether or not it updates the original plugin, or shows up as a new one. In either case, you can safely delete the old version, and use the new. The new version works with the same data as the old.

You can find the Zip file in the area on the right hand side og the GitHub page, under the section “Releases”. You might have to remove the version number, i.e “1.1.3” from the filename when installing it on your site.
