Thank you for the response. As I said the results are the same in chrome, Firefox or IE. I have 6gB of RAM on a 3 year old 64 bit Dell Inspiron (was a basic level home machine when first purchased).
I will try reinstalling Firefox to see if that helps. The internet connection is the same between the two computers (both are in my home). I also have tested it on my iPad and I can easily access it there too.
