Thanks. That solved the problem.
I’m using Wp 3.2 & I get the same error message when I try to upload a zip file for a plug-in. Why is this happening?

WP does not automatically change the .htaccess file in the theme that I am using. I have to change the .htaccess file. Where is the .htaccess file and what are the step by step instructions to fix this problem?
Also, which themes automatically update the .htaccess file when you change the permalink setting from the default?

Unfortunately, I don’t know what that means or how to do that.
I click on the WordPress link from my host, iPage.com. I haven’t accessed any folders or directories.
