 * WP does not automatically change the .htaccess file in the theme that I am using.
   I have to change the .htaccess file. Where is the .htaccess file and what are
   the step by step instructions to fix this problem?
 * Also, which themes automatically update the .htaccess file when you change the
   permalink setting from the default?

 * Unfortunately, I don’t know what that means or how to do that.
    I click on the
   WordPress link from my host, iPage.com. I haven’t accessed any folders or directories.
