Sorry to bring up a dead horse, but I am having this problem same problem. It drops any theme I have, even a different version of default. I have deactivated my plugins, thinking that was the problem, but it still dropped my theme.
I was reading of the fix that was suggested, but I use fantastico to install my wordpress since I don’t have access to create databases on my server.
Does anyone have any advice?
