I removed the notification carousel from the page. Only the widget is shown.
Your widget is so cool. I really hope this can be solved. Regards Christophe

Hello Apologies for the delay. It was owing to the weekend. I have checked the issue further, It seems Weather Forecast Widget plugin is causing the conflict for this. Avada developers checked the site and they say the script error is due to your plugin. Effectively when I disable the pugin the script error is gone.
Can you investigate further please? Can this be solved?

Found the issue, checked console and apparently there was an admin error saying title was not set. Have no clue why it was not shown in output page but as soon as I added a title the forecast was shown.
However I have another issue
Using this shortcode
[weather_forecast_widget lazy_loading=”X” template=”2″ hourly_forecast=”show” show_daily_forecast=”” daily_forecast=”hide” show_hourly_forecast=”X” city=”Sint-Martens-Latem”]I would expect the hourly forecast to be initially shown as expanded due to hourly_forecast=”show” but it doesn’t and when I click on it it opens and closes directly?
Can you check why this happens please?

I downgraded to the version where the issue had been fixed. But never retested due to a live production site. My client don’t want to use the plugin anymore due to its instability. He uses manual mails to send updates :S…. Can’t blame him really. He thinks his company looks amateuristic when multiple same mails are sent to the same user. It happened 3 times already.
BUT I really hope to stick with the plugin though because it does what it has to except too many duplicate mails are sent.
I just wonder why the problem reappeared in a recent version and why it’s so difficult to fix since it had been fixed before. It’s clearly a bug in the plugin. Perhaps other factors cause it but those annoyances should be handled in the plugin’s code.
Please don’t see my post as negative. It’s not meant to. I just want as others it to be sorted out.

4. I use SMTP to send mails with plugin “Easy WordPress SMTP” (https://wp-ecommerce.net/easy-wordpress-smtp-send-emails-from-your-wordpress-site-using-a-smtp-server-2197). It worked well before and after using this plugin.The multi notifications started after updating the plugin and WP.

ChristopheI have the sample problem as the others here since I last updated the plugin a day ago and WordPress to 4.5. Not sure if it’s the one or the other or the combination of it.

Simple fix but difficult to understand why this happened in the first place and why this particular solution was needed :S

Some external consultant I hired fixed it for me. I was so fed up with it and tired of searching.
But now… I still don’t know how he did it. I’ll ask and write it here when I get a response.
