I believe I’m using the Hello theme and also the Elementor page builder. I added the shortcode I’m the shortcode widget. I did add some css code in the Customizer to change the button color. If I remove that css code, it still doesn’t change the formatting issue I’m having.

I’m having the same problem. Pretty Link doesn’t show up in my plugins, but when I go to install it, it shows to activate it. When I click on Activate, I get this message: The plugin does not have a valid header.
I tried renaming my original pretty-link folder and installing the newest version of Pretty Link Lite, but when I activate it, I still get the header error message.
My guess is that it stopped working when wordpress updated to 4.7. Please help! I need my links!

Actually, my plugin says I have 8 approved reviews, but they aren’t showing up in either the dashboard or the website. I added a new review and now that one shows up, but none of the others.
Where are those reviews stored? In the database? If so, where do I find them so I can re-create them? Thanks for your help!

Also, I now ALWAYS backup my clients’ websites BEFORE I do ANY updates. I’ve tried different backup plugins for WordPress, but finally found one that has always worked and I can set it up on a schedule, too, so I don’t have to think about it. Then when I need to do any updates, I just do a quick manual update. Even on one of my sites that is HUGE, it’s very quick and reliable.

In reply to: Fatal Error Genesis-Simple-SidebarsI had that problem, too. When I installed the latest version of Genesis (1.8.0), the problem was fixed. Give that a try. In order to temporarily get rid of the fatal error, I renamed the plugin folder. After I updated Genesis, then I named the plugin back to its original name. Hope that helps!
I’m having issues, too. I would really like this plugin to work. I can’t add users to groups. And I can’t get the client area to show up correctly.

In reply to: [wp Time Machine] [Plugin: wp Time Machine] Backing up files but no databaseIt’s too bad no one checks here to answer our questions. I had to find another option and found two that I really like: BackWPup is my first favorite and EZPZ backup is second.
I had that same problem. I couldn’t upload new photos and when I added a comment, I got that error.
I noticed that it was referencing to the wrong database. I had moved my site to a new server. I had to go into the database through myphpadmin and go to the options table. From there I checked the option value column and found a reference to the wrong database prefix. Changed that and it now works great! Hope that helps someone.
