 * Hi [@peesen87](https://wordpress.org/support/users/peesen87/) ,
 * Thanks once again for your patience and valuable feedback!
 * We wanted to inform you that this **bug has been fixed in the newest version
of the plugin**. We’ve modified the counter logic so HTML tags are no longer
   included in the character count.
 * This patch ensures the “Add link” dialog now functions properly even if a character
limit has been imposed on the WYSIWYG field.
 * Please **upgrade to the latest version** and report to us if it works well on
   your side.
 * Thanks once again for letting us know, your feedback seriously contributed towards
   enhancing the plugin!

 * Hi, thank you for your message and for the detailed feedback!
 * We’re glad to hear the plugin is working well for you overall. We’re currently
looking into the issue with the “Add link” dialog not appearing when a character
limit is set on the WYSIWYG field.
 * It seems the counter may be including HTML tags in its count, which is likely
interfering with link creation. We’re working on updating the counter logic so
that HTML tags are **not** counted toward the character limit.
 * We appreciate your patience and will release an update as soon as we’ve resolved
   this.

 * we’re currently working on it! The goal is to display character limits directly
on the frontend when using `acf_form`, so users know exactly how much they can
   input. Stay tuned for updates!
