In reply to: [Knowledge Base documentation & wiki plugin - BasePress Docs] Stops workingThat’s strange. This seems like a unique situation particular to your website (we haven’t received any other complaints). We’d love to solve this though.
Can you please send over more details about your site? Such as what theme, plugins you are using. What do you think could be the reason etc? We’d love to fix this if problem is at our end. Please use contact us form on our website https://basepresskb.com/contact/
Just for the record -> Got the URL via support ticket. The problem is coming via style-static.min.css line 11 where you have OL, UL and LI all set as 0 for padding and styling. Removing that should fix the issue. Or, you will need to write custom CSS for this.
Basically, this problem is not coming via BasePress plugin. Your theme or page builder people could help you with this.
Thanks and we will continue conversation in the support ticket.
As of now, we do not have any tickets pending. Did you get resolution to the issue you were facing? If not, please use contact form on our website and write to us again. We would love to help you.
Thanks
Dave, your issue was regarding the custom code third party site suggested – with regarding PHP warnings. The latest version of the plugin published two weeks back covers that and issue should be resolved now.
Thanks
This mostly seems like an issue coming from the parent theme (of some other CSS overriding and removing the styling). Please make sure of this. And if the issue still persists, create a support ticket on our website. Would love to help you with this.
Thanks
Looks like your theme is adding a no sidebar class in the header. Maybe create a page with sidebar and then try this? Hopefully that should solve this issue.
Ideally, please select a blank WordPress page with no content to set as homepage for BasePress.
That said, we have released a new version of the plugin today. Please update to the latest version and see if the problem still persists.
As you may have noticed, this vulnerability is already addressed.
Anyone else reading this, please update to latest version version of this plugin and this should be resolved.
Please change the settings to “All Pages” in the BasePress settings and you should be able to restrict direct access to those pages. Please refer to this guide on our website to know more https://basepresskb.com/docs/knowledge-base/features/content-restriction/
Please take a look at this video and you should be able to move section under another section https://cln.sh/pFk1gVmb

In reply to: [Knowledge Base documentation & wiki plugin - BasePress Docs] Fatal ErrorSince then I think you have been able to resolve this? I am visiting the link above and it says “Sorry, but you do not have permission to view this content.”
That said, this fatal error should not really happen and is not a known bug for BasePress. A possible conflict with other plugin maybe?
Not really. BasePress plugin searches only a particular knowledge base you are in.
There’s no limit really. BasePress follows WordPress standards and the articles are created under “post type”. So it will scale with WordPress.
Sure if you have huge traffic and really big database, you would need a reliable hosting with scalable server. But BasePress has nothing which could hinder the performance of WordPress.
This bug is now resolved. Please update to the latest version of BasePress plugin and live search should work as expected.
Is this a unique case particular to your website? We are not able to reproduce the bug at our end.
Sending a video in response to your email/ticket sent via our website. Closing this topic here.
