In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Upgrade from Version 3.8.8.5Any response? I’m not reporting a bug, just a simple question about how best to update. I’m 16 versions behind, and need to know if I can go directly to the newest version, and if not, what is the procedure to go from my version to the latest.
I answered my own question. Client had All In One SEO Pack which apparently conflicts and causes Jetpack to not load the OG tags.
I disabled the plugin and the OG tags show.
Any way to use both? As my original post stated, the All In One SEO Pack wasn’t inserting any OG tags so I’m wondering why Jetpack disables this feature?
I found this thread, is that still the recommended approach?
Lastly, a current list of plugins that disable OG tags within Jetpack would be a good addition to the sticky thread on the topic.

In reply to: [Ultimate WP Query Search Filter] Limit Results to Specific CategoryNot sure I follow, how do I use category_not_in to specify which category the search form uses?
Done, keep us posted. Thanks.
It’s the same site/topic (I just used the wrong user account to post the original thread)
http://www.ginnygcapecodcharters.com/blog/
This is the site, with the very simple theme that has had NextGen working for years that recently broke after upgrading the plugin.
Both the layout of the gallery, and the lightbox functions are not working.
I used the theme checker and do not see any error/problems with my theme. Any other ideas?
<?php wp_head(); ?>and
`<?php wp_footer(); ?>’
…exist in the template. wp_footer did not exist before but I added it and it didn’t seem to effect the page layout, or lightbox functionality.
Keep in mind that this plugin was working for years as-is. We processed an update to NextGen recently and that is when it broke.
Activating another theme resolved the issue. However this brought up another issue, in that the theme for ginnygcapecodcharters.com is incredibly basic, uses no external JS or even CSS.
Besides wp_head does this plugin require any other code either in the template or in functions.php to work?
We created the theme for ginnygcapecodcharters.com and it’s very barebones, only the minimum of required files exist.

In reply to: [Ultimate WP Query Search Filter] Limit Results to Specific CategoryCategory. I’d like the results to pull from a specific post type (already done) AND category.
For example my custom post type is “listings” and it uses the default categories. I want my search results to only show listing post from a specific category (say for example “lodging”)
I would like to do this per form, so that I can make more than one search form that searches different categories/post types.

In reply to: [WP Page Widget] Was Working – Now Only First Widget ShowsI figured this out. It was a custom modification I had made to the Posts by Author Widget Pro plugin. I took out my edit and all the widgets now display again. Thanks.

They’ve been very responsive to my requests.
I too have the same issue as you, so I do not believe it’s a bug or problem with your install.
