Could someone please help me. I was getting help from nice people and suddenly this person called Epstenu starts abusing me and has blocked all my posts from being seen by anyone. She is doing this intentionally because of her lesbian lifestyle and I am a Christian. She has singled me out for abuse to prevent me from getting any help with anything on the support forums until she looks it over. So far, she’s removed several posts, closed two accounts of mine and now, continues to offer up her abuse of me which has taken place over the last year. This “Professional Lesbian with her own tv show has singled me out because I am a christian and a target of broadcasters since witnessing their real crimes in the music business. Please someone, get this person off my back. I have done her or no one any wrongdoing on here or anywhere online.

Thanks for your efforts. Ok, so you can build a new site with the same theme. I can’t see how that would prove your point. I am using the same theme on multiple sites, all with the same issues with the 4.9 update. diecastchampion is the only one left. The rest are offline due to malfunction. Yes, Onetone did move their customize options to the wp customize link in one of their updates. That was long ago. I have used the theme customize features to completely built the diecastchampion.com website. With the 4.9 update, those options are no longer there. Why can’t you understand what I’m saying?

I’m going to mark my threads as resolved since all I am getting is know it alls with no help. Know it alls who only tell me all the things I know and have done and tried who also refuse to just admit that somebody did something wrong. I mean after all, we the users are not the ones writing the program, you are; for some odd reason though, wp errors are always our own fault despite wp being the ones writing it.

And I’m not upset. I am a realist. I see things as they truly are and blatantly speak truth. Sure, it gets me in a bind with some folks as they aren’t used to honesty. They demand something which I will never ever be concerned with, political correctness. I tell it like it is because it’s the only way I know how. I was taught to tell the truth so I do. I was taught that it was always best.

Per the quotes, it wasn’t meant to offend you about America. It is the truth of my life and what it is. I am a slave living under every day systematic organized crime from government and industrial personnel. No, I am not criminal. It’s corrupt government teamed with organized crime, they don’t need any excuses to commit tyranny. Ever been to Alabama?

I don’t practice bumping. I am not trying to reup my post if that’s what you meant. I had something relevant to the post so I posted it, that is all that was intended and I do not appreciate the insinuation of wrong doing. If you removed something, it was only because you didn’t want someone else to see it or me to get any help here.

As stated in my other post which you’ve read, I’ve already tried those things. Even completely deleted the whole site and restored from a backup taking me back to WP before the update. The problems came with the update, it’s not the theme. It’s not the plugins. 25 years of web experience I know nothing because I cannot fix a problem which has been done in a manner so that I cannot repair it? You act like I created the problem. Why can’t WP people just admit it when they make a mistake?

I have deactivated every plugin at once and had none running and still the update problem is there. It only comes from the WP update and I cannot repair it. My repair options have all been disabled by the update. I can’t change anything from what it is now short of uploading a backup again only to be auto-updated and it start all over.

I posted my other thread on the Fixing WordPress forum. It was moved to the theme forum somehow. And targets of government slavery and terrorism do not get holidays in America.

So I am still at a loss for how to repair software rendered irreparable by its updates. As long as everybody keeps blaming the plugins or themes, no one is going to do anything for me and I suspect that in itself is the intention per my experience on this support forums. I suppose it is easy to go around all day telling everyone to disable plugins and themes and actually do nothing to help them, as is the case every time WP develops a new problem. After all, volunteers could never make mistakes. Stay kind. I try to. But I do give back what I get. Love you guys!

If I remove and reinstall my theme, will I lose anything?

Oh, FYI, I also tried disabling each plugin, some were removed completely, to no avail or solution of the issue in admin panel.

Thank you much for your reply. While the site footers appear to be back to normal, the site admin editors and customizer remain disabled. I can log in to admin, edit posts or pages and that’s about it. Can’t make any settings due to disabling of the customizers.

Used to be I clicked on Customize and all the site options would open for adjustments and edits but now, all that opens is a minimal widget option function of no account or purpose to me. All other options and customizations have been disabled or in the least, are simply not there to edit and I can find no way of retrieving or activating them again. Even with a backup overwrite of the theme, the problem remains. This indicates to me that theme is not where the problem since the problem is now there that was not with current or former theme packages. The problem is in the WP 4.9 update. I’m at a loss for how to repair it back to a customizable editable state.

me too, the update completely disables the customizer options of the editor, both wp and theme (Onetone).

With the update to version 4.9, the site footers suddenly became 2 inches tall from what was 1/2 inch. Upon adjustment to customizer in control panel, footer returns to normal. Next day, site footer is gone. 4.9 update is gone too and wants to me re-update again. Re-update to 4.9, footer returns but is again giant size. Upload to site backup for 4.9 removal, sites return to normal. Next day, footer is gone, update to 4.9 is gone again, wants me to update to 4.9. Update to 4.9 third time, footer return to giant size. Next day, footer gone. 4.9 update gone again too. I can only wonder what happening at night to my websites. Using the same theme on multiple sites, each site is experiencing the same identical issue described above.

There is also a bug issue with update 4.9 disabling the control panel customizer. The site cannot be customized or repaired due to this disabling by the 4.9 update. The theme’s (Onetone theme) customizer is also disabled by the WP 4.9 update thereby rendering the sites uneditable.

Anyone have any ideas or info on this bug yet? Is anyone else reporting such errors? Is there a solution in effect? I have reviewed the 4.9 Master List posted.

Ok, I solved my issue with Page Title Bar. I still need to know how to remove Home link from Home page. Thanks
