Sorry about that. This should be working, but if it isn’t, please let us know!
Resolved in 2.5.9, available Thursday 26th September. Thanks!
Hello,
Our support team can help with the custom CSS stored within the form on ConvertKit here. It’s best to reach out at https://help.convertkit.com/en/, so we can identify the account and form in question to make the necessary CSS changes on your ConvertKit account.
Thanks!
- Click
Save Changeson screen at https://chandoo.org/assets/convertkit-wishlist-settings.png - Repeat steps to add a member to confirm if the error still persists.
Not replicating, observing members are added successfully with no error when using ConvertKit 2.5.2:

- Screenshot of settings at
Settings > ConvertKit > Wishlist Member - Full
wp-content/debug.logfile (or at the very least, the full stack trace of the fatal error) - (Optional, but helpful) A brief screencast video showing the steps taken to replicate the error (or, if steps taken differ from the above video, steps we need to take to replicate).
Thanks.
We do not provide an integration with ArMember, and would suggest either:
- Reaching out to ArMember to create an Addon for this,
- Using a third party Plugin, such as Uncanny Automater,
- Using Zapier
Thank you!
We find many users use a JS/CSS minification Plugin or similar for this. Will consider adding a setting to permit minification in a future update.
Thanks!
Thanks for the update @ajay. Would you mind sharing screenshots of the settings used when Autoptimize is enabled and causing this problem?
We can then automatically add exclusions in the next Plugin update to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
Thanks!
Which caching, performance and/or JS minification/defer Plugins are you using on the site that produces this output?

Would need to see:
- How and where you’re adding the block to advise further (every Page, the site editor etc)
- Screenshot of settings at
Settings > ConvertKit. Be sure to exclude your API Key and Secret from the screenshot, as these are sensitive.
Hi Dale,
We replied to help ticket in ConvertKit last Friday and Tuesday, requesting further information to be able to provide a solution.
Once we have that information via the help ticket, we can get this resolved for you.
Thanks!
This is caused by the
Checkout Field Editor for WooCommercePlugin; deactivating this Plugin will result in the checkbox being checked.
Specifically, their Plugin’swoo_form_fieldfunction overrides WooCommerce’swoocommerce_form_fieldfunction, to control which fields to output. This is fine, however within their logic, they incorrectly override the$valueby checking thecheckedattribute of the argument array:
Compare with how WooCommerce builds the checkbox field at checkout using the
woocommerce_form_fieldfunction, which does not contain this logic:
You’d need to raise a support ticket with the authors of `
Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerceto request they fix this. If there’s a reason they have different logic for checkboxes, please let us know. Thanks!
There’s no option in the Plugin at this time to support conditionally adding subscribers based on a checkbox. This may be added in a future update.
Thanks!
Closing as duplicate question relating to the ConvertKit for WooCommerce Plugin. Original support thread: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/opt-in-checkbox-not-checked-by-default-2/
Can you please share screenshots of your settings (making sure not to show any API Key or Secret) and the form? Thanks!
