 * Same here. Switch from 7.4 to 8.0 and it causes a Fatal error and brings down
   to the site.

 * Thanks for checking and your support.
    I made a few changes to the file, added
   the parent sku to variations, removed the attributes from the variations and 
   now everything importing just fine.

 * You got it right, the Cart button is not gone if the variation is out of stock.
   
   If you click on the add to cart button a window pops up:
 * **Sorry, this product is unavailable. Please choose a different combination.**
