Wow, something is really wrong, cause I really tried with switching off all the plugins one by one, but alas that setting was still there.

Thanks, yes it’s so indeed.
But how can I set hiding Site title and Tagline under the Site identity section, please? I have un-ticked the option Display Site title and Tagline, but changes do not apply.

I need to hide Category description boxes on all category pages.
