Your server needs to be able to call the Revostock API via SSL using one of the mechanisms available to WordPress. You shouldn’t need to change PHP code but you may need to tweak your server configuration. If you’ll send your PHPINFO() I’ll take a look at it. You can use the server buddy plugin to do this ( see previous thread comments).

What is your OS? Is this site local to a workstation or hosted on a server?

Try out the plugin I suggested. At the bottom of the Server Configuration section there is a button that says “Display Extended PHP settings via PHPINFO()”. Press that button and you’ll see a long list of settings. Search the list for “CURL”. If it isn’t on … turn it on at your server.

Can you give me some details about your configuration? Is this running on a hosted server or a personal build? Your phpinfo() is a good start. I can recommend Server Buddy (http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/serverbuddy-by-pluginbuddy/) as a good diagnostic tool.
I’ve seen this problem before and it has a couple of root causes.
