– as a administrator of a WP site, you don’t have to manipulate files to get translation up to date. Just click on “update”.
– translation are consistent because followed and reviewed by people that build guides for translation.
The French team in on Slack, WordPress-fr/#translation. You can talk to them.
Once he shows that he is able to follow the translation rules, everyone can become a manager of a plugin’s translation.
You’re right, it’s not easy to understand, but once you get the trick it’s good for the whole community.

after trying to active and deactivate different settings it seems that it’s now working well.

Same issue for me.
In “Options for home/Display the featured posts also in the list of posts” after clicking on “I” it says: This option is always customized sitewide and cannot be reset.
I cannot believe that’s not possible to revert to not display the featured posts in the list of posts?
