It’ll be better if your plugin was fully compatible with WordPress translation system. Not necessary to use Loco Translate or other plugin.

My bad I ticked the option “Thumbnails in uploads”.
Anyway, I made another backup without this option and the file is now 781.25 MB.
As you can see in the following three pictures.
<= Left backup made with BackWPup, => right with Updraft+
BackWPup has problems with the backups of some (not all) files whose names contain an accent.
How to correct this?
Does the version you propose above correct this problem?

After applying the translation that translate “event” to “evenement”, the only thing to do is regenerated the permalinks in Settings / permalinks.
