further to my message above I think I’ve fixed the problem by adding user esrgroup_newesr to database esrgroup_newesr (at least my website seems to be back online) but any advice on whether there might be other things broken that I need to fix would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your time – I’ve learnt my lesson and won’t be fiddling again with things I don’t understand!
