Hi, I have tried disabling all plugins, clearing cache, moving to a different theme, and with all plugins disabled apart from ThirstyAffiliates it still gives me a 404 error in the pop up after pressing the green aff button.
There must be something wrong with my WP installation. I’ll look to reinstall that and try again later.
Thanks for your help Josh, it isnt your plugin thats the problem it seems, so I’ll take it from here.
Thanks anyway.
Interestingly, I get the same issue with another similar plugin, Easy Affiliate Links…
Hi Josh
Yes you are correct, I am referring to using the green ‘aff’ button in the editor, sorry if I didn’t make that clear.
I have loaded up the console in chrome while trying the aff button in the editor, and the plugin in question seems to be TinyMCE. It gives the following error:
“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)” .
Deprecated TinyMCE API call: <target>.onNodeChange.add(..)Location of the plugin is here:
/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/compat3x/plugin.min.js?ver=4205-20150910Thanks
Thanks jkohlbach for your reply.
I tried the above suggestions, but still got the “no results found” in the button pop up window while the TwentyFifteen theme was activated.
The new link the plugin generates works fine, and opens the expected affiliate destination URL. Its just the pop up that doesn’t load properly.
