In reply to: Dashboard looks strange and is messed upThanks but still no luck. The first two did not apply to my problem/site/plug-ins. And I tried the Dashboard on different other browsers and always the same.
The last one did look promissing because I also use CloudFlare but pausing the website in CF or removing Cache and also adding the wp-admin rule did not make a change.
Oh, when I change to default TwentySixteen theme (all plug-ins disabled) the Dashboard has more a few problems then with the GP theme activated.
And all plug-ins are disabled.
GP theme activated:

In reply to: Dashboard looks strange and is messed up@neotechnomad I cleared all browser cache and now the https newly installed site looks good.
Too bad I don’t know what the problem was, but I go further now with the new site. Thanks again, I learned a lot from this about replace core files.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Dashboard looks strange and is messed upGood afternoon @neotechnomad.
Because I have a good back-up I removed database and files and installed latest WP and after logging in I saw the same problem!
So I think it has to do with https or hosting provider.
But I have several sites at the same hosting provider so I think it must be an https related problem. But it looks I narrowed it down so troubleshooting is hopefully easier.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Dashboard looks strange and is messed upThanks @neotechnomad! When adding the concatenate code nothing differences, too bad.
I created with Akeeba Pro a backup and restored it to a different domainname and there is no problem what so ever. Very odd.
The only difference I can see is the https instead of http url.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Dashboard looks strange and is messed upI try a few more things and when that does not help I create the site from scratch. Enoying that I cannot find a solution, but anyway.

In reply to: Dashboard looks strange and is messed upI followed your step-by-step procedure.
Yes, I disabled all plug-ins and then changed theme to default WP theme (twentysixteen). As soon as I added a widget to the only widget space the layout changes.
Very odd…

In reply to: My site isn't workingHi, you will not loose any work when disabling all plug-ins and activate default WP theme (twentysixteen for example).
It is necessary to troubleshoot the problem. When, with all plug-ins disabled and default theme the website is accessible then you know more where to look.
