Hello Champ
As always, straight on with a solution. I was the idiot, yet again. That solved the issue. Thank you very much 🙂

Can anyone help with this issue?
Thank you for your concern. I would never do that on a live site. It was only done on a staging site. But I’ve revoked the access now, anyway. Don’t ban me, please 🙂
Also there is a mix of SSL and no SSL objects on your page.
SSL is not the issue. The staging site is without SSL and will be deleted after I’ve solved the issue.
How have you setup the Account and Profile pages?
They are two different shortcodes and two different pages.I’ve upgraded you to Administrator, so you can have a look at the settings. But I made sure to use the right shortcode on the account page.
Try checking a staging version of the site:
http://staging-1644155050.koldfronten.dk/account/
Every plugin (besides UM) has been disabled, cache folder has been deleted, theme switched to default theme.
You could try creating a profile and test it yourself, if you like.
No PHP or JS errors, whatsoever. No messages of any kind in the browser console.
I’ve now tried doing the conflict test – same results.
Thanks for that.
Caching is already turned off for these pages. I’ve excluded the pages as described in the guide, but the problem remains. When clicking the “Update profile” button, the button goes inactive and the page doesn’t refresh. Nothing happens.
Hello @champsupertramp
No, this is just what I was looking for. Thank you very much!
Hey @champsupertramp
This really saved my day.
It seems to work. I’ve deleted the user, you created. Could you try creating a new one?
Would it be possible to get help with this?
Terrific! I’m glad it could be of some use to identify a potential issue. 🙂
Good to know. But since Site Kit already implements the tag, might as well just delete the other plugin.
Thanks again 🙂
@jamesosborne! That did the trick.
Removing the 3rd party plugin, which in my case was “GA Google Analytics”, made it possible to move on with Site Kit.
Thank you so much for your help.

Thanks for submitting the form and apologies, I never included the link to the guide. See below:
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6370521#aboutIn the guide it mentions to provide both editor and administrator access for both the source and destination accounts. If you’ve selected the second option when copying (Replace existing views and permissions…) it’s possible that the permissions are not aligned. Let me know if you’ve applied both roles when moving.
I believe I went with option to keep the existing rights. I believe that I’ve made sure to check all the rights.
In all these tabs my Google Account is set to Administrator. I can’t enable multiple rights for my account, only chose one type of rights:
From looking at the form you provided it looks like you have your Analytics snippet placed using another plugin. We can perform some checks with using Site Kit solely to place your Analytics snippet after you confirm that you’ve applied both an administrator and editor role above.
Yes – I’m using a secondary plugin to include my analytics tag. Site Kit is just for reviewing the analytics.

Hello James
1: Form submitted.
2: What guide? I’ve checked the rights for both accounts and my Google Account is admin in all categories. But I could be missing something.
3: As already mentioned, I’m using the same Google Account for both properties / analytics accounts. I just moved the property from one analytics account to a new one:
