when it has only been a few hours since last response?Anyways – simple to respond:
– a full refund – no questions asked was given
– not every site can handle the performance load of the plugin – it does do some compute and work – remember its calculating, search and rendering additional posts.
– it won’t work on every theme – because not every them supports dynamic content – and there are 1000’s of themes
– nothing shady here about a premium version and renewing if you want to keep it up to date
– customer could have trialed with the free version prior to buying the pro version to test functionality and themes – we have 60,000 people doing this right now!we do have bugs sometimes, and fixes are issued to work with combinations of plugins and themes. – we do work with customers – and like I said, with 1000’s of theme combinations – there will be compatibility issues.
60,000 active customers, hundreds of thousands of downloads – we do pretty good.
Happily I refunded the $47 – goodbye.

We’ve just updated the paid premium plugin to Facilitate page caching when IP Only counters are used.The free version will be limited to cookie, but pro version will allow caching via IP.The cause of the slowdown is the use of the Session which is used to track unique users. The Session information is stored on the server which is why the session cookie comes from the server on each page load. It is not possible to only enable the session on a particular page because the session cookie arrives in the header before the html body is sent. If the session is only enabled on a page, then the page would need to be refreshed to to update from the server before the session cookie can be accessed.
Because of the way the Session works, we have disabled the Session when only the IP is used to track all countdown timers on the site. If any of the countdown timers use cookie tracking, then the Session will be activated site wide.Forum: Plugins
