Good find. I learned the defaults for description and review are 10 and 30, so priority needs to be 31 or higher.
I also need to do this. I am playing with the priority settings but I can’t seem to get it to go after description.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Clear autoptimize cache when plugins/core updatedThanks Frank, I’ll try to do a deeper dive on this the next time we run some upgrades, I appreciate the snippet as well. Much appreciated!

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Clear autoptimize cache when plugins/core updatedThanks for the quick reply and insight! I hear you that this is typically the way it works.
In our case/environment (nginx page cache, redis object cache, cloudflare), almost all issues with updates are resolved once we clear the autoptimize cache, particularly with Gravity Forms. This is after we have already cleared all other caches, which does not resolve the issues but then the autoptimize clearing – which does not seem to fire automatically after those cache clears either – tends to fix everything.

In reply to: [Fresh Forms for Gravity] support for nginx / do-not-cache: trueUnderstood, thanks for taking a look. I am settling on updating config files for now, I’ll revisit if I get any leads on a more straightforward way to do this. I generally clear the page cache manually anyway. Cheers!

In reply to: [Nginx Helper] Page exclusions, do-not-cache: true php headerI enabled x-cache-header and performed further testing.
While I still get the nginx-helper html comment code, it seems it is not actually cached by repeatedly getting
x-cache: MISS
After several reloads.
This may indicate the issue is more with the plugin than the cache respecting headers. I welcome any thoughts. Thanks.

In reply to: [Fresh Forms for Gravity] support for nginx / do-not-cache: trueAppreciate your thoughts, thanks Samuel.
The current most supported plugin for this is Nginx Helper plugin, which we do run. We are also running a cpanel/whm nginx page cache implementation on easyapache4 with php-fpm.
My understanding is PHP headers should suffice to prevent nginx cache, but in my initial testing I have not been successful with this yet. I can work on a staging site setup for you, it will take a bit of time.
Thanks!
Brilliant, thank you for the fast action and response!

In reply to: [Fresh Forms for Gravity] support for nginx / do-not-cache: trueI did experiment with adding the do-not-cache header by adding the code into the plugin code. It worked in adding the header, but I noticed nginx still fires. I’ll have to keep digging for my personal use case.
Rollback to 3.2.2 resolves problem.

In reply to: [Advanced Ads – Ad Manager & AdSense] Settings pages brokenThanks for following up! Permalink save didn’t help, but it is now resolved after a round of plugin updates. It may have had to do with Updraft plus, but I’m not certain.
