No problem. It was when I saw the new feature to enable/disable components that I thought to try just saving it.

I thought the same. It’s due to the new setting for enabling/disabling the plugin components.
Go to Dashboard > Settings > Steroids for Elementor
Click Save Changes (even of you haven’t made any)
The plugin now works.
