OH. ok, the “post” registration email needs me to pretty it up and populate it with information. ok…
was this sample content you’ve included: “To set your password, visit the following address:” Do i need to add our default lost password change link myself?
Recipient User URL: [email_user_url] this was blank in the email that arrived.

OK… that worked. simply asking you for help (and sleeping on it overnight) made it work…. :-0
Having set up 2 emails. “New User Registration – For User” and “New User – Post-registration email”, I received the first one (beautiful!), then the second arrived (without links). Now what have i done…hello there. Appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.
I tried. I did add that one, but the email that arrived was WP default. So I created a Post registration email as an experiment, and that worked, but without the links arriving.
I know I must be doing something wrong. This software has huge potential for us. Maybe I’ll start from scratch and try again…..

Javier, thank You!! yesterday, I tried that format and it appears that all has gone very well. I wanted to let you know that it worked and that i was very grateful for your support. one question: the Nickname field in WP Admin chooses the person’s Username (which i have as their email for logging in reasons). i put a field in the CSV sheet called “Nickname” and wondered if there was a way to over ride the WP Admin default so i don’t have to go through miles of users to double check their email isn’t on display. Maybe this isn’t an issue, maybe its just me being nervous.
i really appreciate what you have provided here. i have yet to learn about all the other functions of this software. i see its FREE, so, i need to make a donation for your efforts.

I am using BuddyBoss, and adding users via the WP admin screen. cumbersome. so, are you saying, in my CSV spread sheet, in the column header, I have to add “first_name” in this format, so the WP admin can pick it up and populate those fields?
