It’s fine. I was frustrated with the situation. Our developer rewrote some of your code and made it work. Thanks.

In reply to: [UM Relational Fields] PHP Fatal Error – undefined functionThank you. We removed the plugin completely and added it back a few weeks ago and it hasn’t given us trouble since.
I know this is support for free users, but your response is very disappointing. I’ve worked with another developer closely to build this site for 8+ months, and we’ve already been paid. The site has been live for two weeks, and there are 3,000+ members actively participating. UM was chosen after many hours of research, principly because of your Directory feature. My theme support just says “get another membership plugin”. You say “get another theme.” This is the only issue we have after working out other bugs, and I really think this should be an easy fix. If I were a paying member, would you actually put effort into solving the problem and at least point me in a direction to troubleshoot it or just brush me off like you’re doing here?
No help from my theme support, and thus far my developer friends have no fix. Password reset will work if you’re already logged in, which of course is no help to anyone. For right now, we put up a “for now, contact our administrator to have him manually reset the password” disclaimer. I guess this would be a good thing to look into for the next version of the plugin.
I’m also having this issue, specifically with the Members Directory page. We have the page itself set up with the option for Access Only to certain Roles, but any logged out user can get to it and access this page. Everything else seems to be working properly in that area.

I signed up for a test account with All Import. I spent some trial and error time creating an export and import, but the UM extra fields did not import back in. Any guess as to what happened there? I’ll seek help from the plugin authors as well, just wondering if you had anything off the top of your head. Thanks.
Hey, Steven. Thanks for the reply. I’m on the All Import site and the add-on seems pretty cut and dry. There is another client I could possibly use this for on the reg, so the pro version could be worth it.

In reply to: Login ProblemsThat’s my host as well. I’m on chat with them right now. They just told me they aren’t going to remove the code, to be on the safe side, but I’m basically begging them to escalate it and make an exception. It’s the one thing keeping me from launching this site. A support guy with one of our plugins immediately thought the site had gotten hacked – imagine how our clients, mostly older, non-tech savvy guys – will react to this. I never got a notice warning me about this extra security measure, so I’m pretty steamed. Thanks, @axs for pointing me in this direction!

In reply to: Login ProblemsFor what it’s worth, I also ran a Sucuri Sitecheck scan for malware at http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/scanner/ for both your root domain and your members site. Both came up clean, but it said that http://calhaunts.com/calhauntswp/ is empty, and it couldn’t come up with any data for it. I’m posting in a few other related forums on our issue, so maybe we can all figure this out together.

In reply to: Login ProblemsI’m having this issue, too. When I try to log in with several users of different roles, I get the drop down dialog box. I can proceed and log in, but only if I fill in those values. This just started happening randomly in the past week or so. So far, I haven’t been able to find anything suspicious via FTP, and I’ve combed the site thoroughly.
dpmey, do you use Wishlist Member, or any other membership/login type plugins? I have WLM installed, but I think I added it after I started having this weird glitch. Temporarily disabling it doesn’t make the dialog go away. I’m wondering if some remnant of a previously deleted plugin is doing this somehow.
