It is used because of the featured image is not in correct aspect ratio. So to cover up the whole image we have used a bg color. In Future release you will be able to have a good gradient color + aspect ratio option will have 2 features. 1. Full width aspect ratio (it will cover the fuill width and height will be as per instagram aspect ratio. 2. Current feature width and height both should be covered with background color.
