It sounds like the problem could be related to your website’s theme not being fully compatible with the current version of WordPress or the block editor (Gutenberg). This is common with older themes, especially if the theme designer is no longer maintaining or updating it.
You can try to switch to the default theme temporarily to check if your theme causes the issue. You can switch back to your original theme at any time. Here are the steps:- Go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Appearance > Themes.
