Hi @smerriman,
I confirmed with the team that it’s not possible to remove non-applicable permissions. So although the feature at Insights » Google Ads is just for creating Performance Max campaigns from within the WordPress dashboard, we don’t have a way to limit what Google displays during the authentication process which is why the full range of the API’s capabilities is shown.
Thank you.
Hi @luizjorgept,
Thank you for the kind words and for taking the time to leave a review, it means a lot!
Thank you.
Hi @climber8000,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
I’m sorry about the notifications. We try to provide as much value as possible to our users by communicating the Pro version features, as a lot of users aren’t aware of them and can benefit greatly.
We’re truly grateful for your continued support over the years. If you have any suggestions for things you’d like to see in the Lite version, please let me know and I’d be happy to share your feedback with the team.
Thank you.
Hi @muaysteve,
Thanks for following up and sharing what worked! Glad the TLS change did the trick.
I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to reach out if anything else comes up!
Thank you.
Hi @harborherald,
Thanks for reaching out!
This is usually normal when just starting out. Once Google Analytics is connected, data typically starts appearing within 24-48 hours as visitors come to your site.
That said, if you were expecting to see historical data already in there, it’s worth heading over to analytics.google.com to check whether you have an existing property with data in it. If you do, you’d just need to reconnect MonsterInsights to that property at Insights » Settings » Google Authentication.
Let us know what you find!
Thank you.
Hi @omniafausta,
Sorry for missing this! Yes, that’s correct, gadwp was the original plugin that ExactMetrics was rebranded from, so those rows are from the same plugin and are safe to drop as well.
Thank you!
Hi @smerriman,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for any concern.
The permissions shown during the authentication process are defined by Google, and cover all possible features within the MonsterInsights plugin. To learn more about the Google Ads feature, please see our past announcement post: https://www.monsterinsights.com/new-google-ads-creation-right-from-your-monsterinsights-dashboard/
Since the Google OAuth scopes work on an all-or-nothing basis, all permissions need to be accepted upfront for the plugin to function, but details on what MonsterInsights uses them for can be found here: https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/google-permissions-for-oauth/
We appreciate you sharing your thoughts. If you have further feedback to share, please feel welcome to let me know, and I’ll make sure to forward to our team.
Thank you!

Hi @gaborme,
Just a quick update that our team is working to resolve this in a future update. I’m not able to say when it will be released yet, but we’re aiming to get it out as soon as possible.
Thank you!

Hi @ranjster,
Thanks for reaching out and apologies for the delay.
I’m marking this as resolved since newer versions of NextGEN Gallery have since been released. The error is likely coming from an outdated version being restored from the backup files, but please update the plugin to the latest version for the fixes to apply.
If you’re still seeing errors after updating, please reach out to us at https://www.imagely.com/contact/ and we’ll be happy to take a closer look at the issue directly.
Thank you!
Hi @nikdow,
Thanks for sharing this detailed report! Apologies for the delay.
I confirmed with our team that NextGEN Gallery is designed for standard WordPress installations, so unfortunately setups with symlinked plugin directories and a custom WP_CONTENT_DIR are outside the scope of what we’re able to support. We do appreciate you flagging it though, and glad the Apache rewrite is working for you!
I’ll mark as resolved for now but if there’s anything we can help with or if you have further feedback to share, feel free to let us know.
Thanks!
