I’m sorry about our free version feeling too limited, we try to provide as much value as possible to our users by communicating the Pro version features because a lot of users aren’t aware of them and can benefit greatly.
With MonsterInsights Lite, you’re able to track and view critical site statistics (such as page views in the last 30 days, top posts and pages, etc) and automatically track custom events such as download links, affiliate links, outbound links, telephone links, email links, and custom link click events.
We also include a monthly email summary report alongside other useful tools like a headline analyzer, a UTM URL builder, a widget for displaying the most popular posts, to help increase site engagement. When making any changes to your site, you can also add a site note to help keep track of the impact it has on your analytics.
We really appreciate you for giving us a try and if you have any suggestions for the things you’d like to see in the Lite version, please let me know and I’d be happy to share your feedback with the team.

Email summary reports by MonsterInsights are sent from the WordPress site itself, so they will need to be disabled within each site’s WordPress admin. We’d recommend reaching out to the person or hosting provider managing the site to have them disabled at Insights » Settings » Advanced » Email Summaries.

Once connected, MonsterInsights will pull in data from your Google Analytics property and you’ll be able to view your historical data in our reports from the past 30 days.
I understand the data isn’t looking right though. Could you let me know what you’re seeing versus what you’re expecting?

I apologize for the delay here! Thanks for the screenshots, they were really helpful in understanding the issue.
Just a quick update we’ve opened an issue with our development team to look into the custom thumbnail cropper not respecting portrait dimensions. I’ll follow up here once there’s an update.
