 * Sorry, should have clarified what I meant by ‘installing.’
 * Yes, it was my web host linting the file upon pushing it up via GIT. They won’t
   allow any code to be pushed that has syntax errors.
 * In the meantime the issue was resolved. I deleted the file from the plugin and
   it seemed to function just fine without it (which in itself is strange…)
