In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Not Working For New PostHey, I’m working on it. The new version should be out in a few days.

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] How to tag with ,Change the string separator to something else, a semicolon perhaps. Make sure you delete it from word separators as well (or replace it with its HTML entity).
Thanks for letting me know about this; I could make related words support HTML entities in the next version, so that there wouldn’t be a need to change separators in similar cases anymore.

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Custom Post Type Tags Don't Seem To Be WorkingAh, I see. Maybe try to make it work in a separate testing environment first? APT can to add categories to posts as well, which is why I’m a bit confused as to why it doesn’t work in your case.
If you want to use some RSS importer that would create new posts on a regular basis, the current APT version won’t be able to process these posts automatically. Its bulk tagging tool can retag multiple (all) posts at once, but it has to be run manually. However, a new release – where this feature will be included – should be out in a matter of days.

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Custom Post Type Tags Don't Seem To Be WorkingChange the “Old tags handling” option to “Replace old tags…”, check the checkbox immediately under it and then publish/update a post to see if the plugin will process it.

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Custom Post Type Tags Don't Seem To Be WorkingThat’s strange. Could you please post here a screenshot of the plugin settings + the post editor with the post which wasn’t processed by APT?

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Custom Post Type Tags Don't Seem To Be WorkingIs the plugin able to add categories to normal posts only, or is there a problem as well?
(Change “Allowed post types” to “post” and “Taxonomy assigned to posts” to “category”.)

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Custom Post Type Tags Don't Seem To Be WorkingHello, if you want APT to add categories instead of tags, the keyword names must contain category IDs only. See this page: http://devtard.com/?p=820

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Not Working For New PostIt took me approximately a year to release v1.6, and since v1.7 is supposed to be even more complex, don’t expect it to be released anytime soon. I don’t have much free time right now.

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Does Not Working With WpeMaticoHi, I already responded in this thread: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/not-working-for-new-post?replies=2#post-5972362
There is no quick fix for this, you’ll have to wait until a new version is released, sorry.

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Exclude tagging in certain categoriesThe current version doesn’t support this, sorry. This feature should be implemented in the next one.

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Several tags?If you put multiple words in the KW name field (e.g. “Cats, Dogs, Pets”), the plugin will treat all these words as a single tag and will add it to a post if this particular KW name or its related words are found.
If you want APT to add multiple tags to a post instead of just one, you have to create 3 separate keywords for each of these words (all of them need to have the word “animal” in the related words field).
The screenshot section might help you understand what I mean: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/automatic-post-tagger/screenshots/
Does that make sense?
Hi, try to delete all your keywords except for one (make a backup first) and then save/update a post to see if the category is still being added.

In reply to: [Automatic Post Tagger] Automatic post tagger doesn't work on FeedWordPressUnfortunatelly, APT v1.6 isn’t able to tag posts which weren’t saved/published manually.
You can use the bulk tagging tool in order to retag all posts at once, though.
