You should be able to if you store your event data in custom fields. Then go to the Smart Sort settings page and add your fields to the sort options.
I’m having the same problem. Just updated, and now trackbacks are showing even though they are set not to. I also have it set to show 4 comments and it’s showing 5. This is breaking my layout!
So then it only pulls the most recent feed items when the page loads, or will it pull new ones after the page has already loaded?
